Dream Cycles: Between Hope & Reality exhibition flyer for East Market Chestnut Walk

East Market Corridor partnership

Dream Cycles: Between Hope & Reality was a public art exhibition curated by Sheena Garcia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Garcia selected the work of 14 Philadelphia artists to transform the storefront windows of Chestnut Walk, between 11th and 12th Streets, into a walkable open-air gallery. Presented in partnership with East Market, the exhibition explored themes of resilience, justice, identity, and hope, bringing contemporary art into the public realm at a time when traditional galleries were largely inaccessible.
